I haven’t written on a plane in ages. Doing this is fun! At least, it is when you have the space. They really like packing us in and it can be hard to find an overhead bin. Still, I have a tray table, my laptop, and access to WiFi.
This weekend, I’m going to be at the Nebulas, a speculative fiction convention. It will be in the Sheraton at Anaheim. Hoping to see you there!
My Schedule
Saturday, my plan is to explore the convention with friends as well as a bit of Anaheim. If you have any panels that you recommend, hearing them would be great.
Sunday is going to mainly be my day of activity; in the morning from 10:00 to 10:30 AM PST, I will be signing autographs. You can find me on the map if you are attending. Be sure to bring your own books, since I only have four copies of Understudies. The free swag I thought of packing did not go according to plan. NONE of it arrived in time and I only realized yesterday. Next time I go for custom bookmarks, I’m ordering them a month ahead of time.
At 1:30 PM PST, I will be on a panel talking about why Robin McKinley is awesome. She is a fantasy author and the grandmaster for the convention. While Robin can’t attend in person or virtually, the convention will celebrate her regardless. Hoping you all can sign in for that one!
This weekend is going to be great. I get to attend a fantasy convention, see cool people, and visit Anaheim! Maybe in the future, Disneyland will be a possibility during a later trip.
